National Children's Health Insurance Conference Toolkit
![]() | Children’s Health Insurance: Tools to Advance Enrollment and Retention EffortsThis toolkit has been developed to assist organizations playing a critical role in increasing awareness and understanding of children’s health insurance programs and ultimately driving eligible parents and guardians to apply for coverage on behalf of their uninsured children. This toolkit contains pertinent information, materials, tools and tactics to assist your organization in education and outreach efforts. It is not designed to be utilized in a linear fashion, so we encourage you to use the elements that are most helpful to your organization’s outreach efforts. The toolkit offers how-to information, as well as materials that allow for significant localization, while also providing the opportunity for message consistency across all children’s health insurance outreach. You will also find customizable materials to which you can add your logo, local points of contact and State-specific information. This tool kit is designed to be an evolving document and will be updated and expanded over time as successful strategies and practices emerge. Additional materials and information will be added to our web site at www.insurekidsnow.gov as they become available.
