Enrolling Eligible Children & Teens in Medicaid and CHIP Year Round Webinar

Individuals who are eligible for Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) can enroll in health coverage any day of the year. The Open Enrollment period for qualified health plans in the Marketplace ended March 31, 2014–but it's important to be sure families with Medicaid-eligible children and teens know that it's not too late to apply for coverage. Parents who are eligible for Medicaid can sign up as well! This webinar showcased the Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign's latest outreach push, starting in spring 2014, and featured new resources to help spread the enrollment message. Partner organizations shared how they plan to ramp up their enrollment efforts in the weeks and months ahead and a featured speaker spoke about using real stories of families benefiting from Medicaid and CHIP to raise awareness of these programs among eligible families and others.
