City leaders play an integral part in improving the health and wellbeing of children and families in their communities. Many municipalities are finding that collaborations with local outreach organizations are getting more eligible children enrolled in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). This webinar highlights best practices from organizations that have worked with city governments to increase enrollment. The Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign also unveiled resources created in collaboration with the National League of Cities to highlight the benefits of working with cities and provide engagement tips to strengthen partnerships.

Funding alert! The Connecting Kids to Coverage Outreach and Enrollment Cooperative Agreement program will provide $66.3M in grants to reduce the number of children who are eligible for, but not enrolled in, Medicaid and CHIP, and to improve retention of those enrolled.
